Past winner of the Crossroads Acoustic Blues Award,at The Telluride Blues Festival .

On the: "Best of Boulder" list. Has been the "acoustic road warrior" for many years,out on the singer -songwriter,blues/folk club circut. Kevin also has played nearly every ski area in Colorado, at one time or another. He was invited to be on the teaching staff at

The Rocky Mountain Folks Festival "Song School" for several years.

     In 2006 Kevin started playing many gig's with "Parting Glass". An acoustic,original and traditional Irish song group.Things are going very well with a weekly show at Kerrigan's,and good attendace at all area shows,the mailing list is building and a live CD has been released. Working toward some big things for this project !! The last time I was in a band was...........

............at age12,playing the drums.Playing my first "professional" gig at a Sigma Chi fraternity FAC not long after that. Sister Jane gave me her old acoustic guitar and it's "unplugged" ever since.   Kevin moved from Michigan to Colorado,after graduating from Albion College.He lived in Albion and Marshall.Before becoming involved full time with his music,Kevin was Community Service Director for the Y.

.His first gig in Boulder was at Fred's on The Pearl Street Mall. He played some ledgendary spots that are no longer around like:Peggy's Hi-Lo,The Walrus,The Hotel Boulderado (upstairs) Penny Lane(the original and the new one),Tulagi's and JJ McCabes early in his solo career or with several bands.He played the Boulder Theatre and local festivals's as well.

After recording his first CD in 1994 he started "touring" regularly.

The Midwest,Texas and The Southwest were most frequently visited by the white cargo van. .Kevin has played from coast to coast over the course of his career, performing in clubs,coffeehouse's,concert series,festivals, house concerts and private functions.
